Volunteering (Seva)

Seva is a living form of love. Finding and creating opportunities to serve and engaging and immersing oneself in endeavours of serving selflessly helps in expansion of one’s consciousness.

By giving back to the community and helping those in need, individuals can cultivate a deeper sense of empathy and compassion, which can lead to a greater understanding of themselves and their place in the world. Seva, or selfless service, is a means of promoting spiritual growth and personal fulfilment. It inspires and enthuses to uphold the higher values. Imbibing virtues becomes natural, normal and spontaneous while we are engaged in serving selflessly.

Availability of opportunity to serve the needy as well as virtuous is a sure sign of being fortunate. Ashram offers best opportunities to serve the needy and virtuous both.

Join us in our mission to make a positive impact in the community through seva. By participating in our seva initiatives, you can tap into your personal strengths, develop new skills, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

CHAPTER 8 · GIVE

Seva, the practice of service

Seva is what happens after the inward turn — when the practice begins to flow outward, finding shape as service. Editing a video of Guruji so it reaches one more seeker. Cooking a meal for someone on retreat. Teaching a child in a rural school. Building a garden bed at the ashram. The virtues you searched for become natural when you stop searching and start serving.

Common Questions

Before you decide

What kinds of Seva can I do?

Video editing for YouTube and social media, building social media awareness, designing creatives, transcribing Guruji’s videos, video shooting, event management, conducting skills and training workshops, creating educational materials for school children, fund raising, and ashram activities.
Can I do Seva remotely?

Yes. Many Sevas are remote — content, design, transcription, social media, training. Both on-site and remote contributions are valued equally.
Do I need any prior skills?

No. We help you tap into your existing strengths and develop new skills along the way. Anyone with willingness can serve.
Is this paid work?

No. Seva is selfless service offered as practice, not paid employment. We cover travel and stay for substantial on-site contributions.
Why do Seva instead of donating money?

Seva promotes spiritual growth and personal fulfilment. By engaging directly, you cultivate empathy and compassion — virtues become natural while you are engaged in serving selflessly.
How much time do I need to commit?

Whatever you can offer — from a single weekend project to ongoing weekly help. Small changes lead to a big difference.
How do I begin?

Fill the Enquire form sharing your skills and interests. We’ll set up a brief conversation to match you to a Seva that fits.
